The missing ingredient …

Held in high regard, we just seem to disregard the pedestal of superiority we find ourselves pacing on. Oh yes we have earned every part of this stupendously high regard but goodness gracious do we have ways of not valuing it. We as females have to be the most threatened species, we seem to lack growth from within.

“ … Men themselves have wondered what they see in me. The try so much but they can’t touch my inner mystery …” – Maya Angelou Your inner mystery, what ever happened to self-pride and dignity among and within us females, we seem to just throw these morals out the window all in the name of attention, there are so many ways to grab attention, one of them shouldn’t be you lowering your values. I just wish we, as woman empowered each other on a more personal level, everything seems to come off as a game or a challenge and you winning is defined by things, whereby if you take a couple of steps back and review the situation, the challenge is mediocre.

Oblivious to the fact that men are watching, we expect them to treat us in a way that we don’t even treat ourselves … then we say they’re all the same, no my hunny buns, we’re all the same. But pointing your finger in the other direction is always much easier right? But, “don’t be so quick to cast the first stone when you’re living in the glass house on the hill “. Until we change our ways, men won’t because what use will it serve treating someone in a way they don’t even treat their fellow sister.

There’s nothing more attractive than a female holding her head up high and refusing to look down, there’s something about having that character that gives them this edge they just exude without even trying.

Read with an open mind. That’s all I ask. Ignorance has never been bliss, it just leaves you narrow minded and stubborn.

Xoxo, Lucy
